Was always proud of the guards on 22nd St. but last summer they sat in the stand texting or on their phones. Once an elderly lady fell and not one of them went to her aid, Her family had to run down to the shore line right next to their stand and help her up then assist her back to her chair. We had visitors remark on their lack of attention. They would begin dragging the stand back to the dunes at 5:15! Hope someone reads this and the summer of 2017 is better.

the lifeguards I have seen on beaches in Brigantine are always on top. the fitness is outstanding. Friendly also
