We had spent a week in Maine eating lobster rolls daily. I have to say the Crab Shack was the best of all we tasted when we got back to Brigantine! Generous portion of lobster that was incredible. This is our 5th year at Brigantine...and I have never experienced any problem with the freshness of the food or the complete genuine courtesy and friendly nature of the staff. Would not go anywhere else.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the Crab Shack and will be back on our next trip to Brigantine.
On July 26th, 2017 we stopped at the Crab Shack in Brigantine for a late lunch. It was around 3 pm and nobody else was there.
Cons: Outdoor seating only
The food sure looks good in the pictures and in their display, but we never got the chance to find out for ourselves because the service in that place is non-existent. My wife and went in the pick up some fish to go. There were a few other customers, but they weren’t by any means swamped. We’d decided what we wanted and were ready order, then we stood there and stood there and stood there and were simply ignored by the two or three people behind the counter. It was comical and pathetic at the same time. We just walked out, lesson learned. Don’t waste your time.
Small place but excellent FRESH seafood. Received substantial amount of food upon ordering. Excellent service.

It's outdoor seating only. About four or five tables and benches. Should be enough seating even during a busy lunch rush.
We had dinner at this restaurant during our USA trip. It was amazing!! The food.. seafood was perfect. Cook naturally and keep the original taste of each fresh raw. Love it. Definitely will come back again.
We arrived as a large group of about 8 and yet service was fast. We ordered a variety of menu items, most of them fried, all of it delicious.
